User stories linked from other projects
## Story Statement As a technical illustrator, I want the system to match components in imported wiring schematics to metadata in related topics and create links automatically where possible so that users can navigate from schematic components to the correct supporting information with minimal manual authoring. ## Business Value - Preserves existing schematic assets by enabling import instead of full re-authoring. - Reduces authoring effort by automating component-to-topic link creation based on metadata matches. - Improves technician efficiency by connecting schematic components to relevant information objects. - Increases information accuracy by maintaining consistent object-level relationships across content.

Description Platform Status: not supported PPT Status: Roadmap MVP: Yes Must Have: Priority 1 (A) Use Case "Enhanced schematics" provide functionality to the end user to be able to navigate from a schematic to the component, to the troubleshooting, to the fault codes and back to any related schematics. Notes Built ADAT tool to support resolution of H-ref links in SVGs, to align with the DITA standard. PTC overlooked and didn't implement. Alternative: Authors need to draw boxes over SVGs. If we have two diagram, they may have different links between each other, retain that relationship when we deliver it. Support in preview as well. ADAT over engineered and not robust enough to be integrated into the platform. Goes via a very different route. Gap Explanation The system has support for importing schematics in SVG format but some AGCO specific customization is expected. Import/integration from Zuken E3 included in scope according to "Proposal: Aleido platform implementation" submitted 25th of aug. Product Owner Notes Requirement may be outdated since AGCO now creates wiring diagrams in E3
